I’m a Biotechnologist and pursued my Masters in Microbiology and PhD in Biotechnology. I have knowledge in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Food and Nutrition, human health, Genomics, Proteomics, Microbial infection/pathogenesis, and Bioinformatics research areas. I have around 19 published articles and two book chapters (at International Journals) to my credit, with more than 600 plus citations. I worked as a Reviewer in professional and reputed journals like PLOS One and Scientific Reports. I have experience in writing research proposals, thesis, articles, content writing, book chapters, and power point presentation which are unique, authentic and non-plagiarized.

In vitro anti-inflammatory activity among probiotic Lactobacillus species......

Probiotic bacteria have the ability to alter immune response conferring treatment to inflammatory diseases. In the current study, probiotic Lactobacillus strains were subjected to adhesion to epithelial Caco-2 cells. Subsequently, gene expression of pro-and anti-inflammatory genes were studied under three stimulation.

Genetic Variation of pln Loci Among Probiotic..... with Antioxidant and Cholesterol-Lowering Ability

In the present study, 14 different plantaricin encoding genes of pln loci were studied and compared to available sequences from public domain database of probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum strains. Based upon the presence and absence of selected genes, pln locus was grouped into eight clusters. Further, quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis for seven genes has discriminated the complex pln locus into five types which includes WCFS1, closely related to J51, J23, NC8, and a new E1 type.

Diversity and evolutionary aspects of mucin binding (MucBP).....through comparative genetic analysis

Mucin binding protein (Mub) of Lactobacillus plantarum- group (LPG) is considered as a potential marker gene due to its diversity and adherence property to host intestinal layer. The mub gene expression pattern noted by real-time PCR revealed 67.64 increased fold change in MTCC 9483 with four MucBP [login to view URL], the isolates with 3 and 2 MucBP repeats showed ∼4 and 2 enhanced expression, respectively.

Discrimination and divergence among Lactobacillus....probiotic functionalities from vegetable origin

As determined by nucleotide sequence analysis and bioinformatics Pfam database, the putative Fbp protein and Mub protein had shown variation. However, L. pentosus, L. plantarum subsp. argentoratensis and L. arizonensis isolates gave no amplicon for the tested marker genes. Selected cultures showed tolerance to simulated digestive fluids (20–85%), exhibited auto-aggregation (10–77%), cellular hydrophobicity (12–78%), and broad spectrum of anti-microbial activity.
