Having started in IT in 1998, I have become quite proficient in many areas of IT such as Networking, Administration but have also branched out into applications, Application Training and programming.
I implemented and maintained computer systems that collect, process, store, and present data. I have been responsible for coordinating and performing the data connection, switch, and access point move for the local offices, collaborating in the configuration and implementation of the storage and backup systems, and participating in strategic meetings regarding projects, upgrades and updates. I hold a BSc. in Science in Computing.
As an Applications Trainer, my responsibilities included facilitating classroom training sessions on ICDL, MOUS and MOS Expert
Assists end users
Conducts regular day-to-day communication with staff members and application end users, schedules and enrolls learners in training classes, responds to end user software questions
Develops and maintains basic training documentation
IT Trainer reviews and edits training materials ahead of classes to ensure they are aware of and up-to-date
Develops classroom curricula (e.g., PowerPoint Presentations, Exercise Booklets, Quick Reference Guides/Tip Sheets, etc.) applying instructional design methodologies
Assesses the efficacy of training programs by administering end user proficiency assessments, and surveying learners with 60 day training evaluations.
Help maintains training documentation by versioning, organising, and publishing materials
