Alex S.

My name is Alex Shebar and I am a professional journalist (with dual-degrees in Journalism and English from Syracuse University) who is looking to place my skills, interests and knowledge into blogging for your site. I have a zip-file that includes my resume, cover letter and multiple clips from different publications. These stories have been featured on some of the Web's most popular sites, including The Huffington Post, CNN, The Daily Beast, MSN, Yahoo, MTV, BoingBoing and others. If nothing else, this shows I know how to write pieces that appeal on both a local and national level. (Unfortunately, you cannot send large files to Craigslist addresses. If you give me another email address, I will send this information to you - or you can find it on my Web site at [login to view URL] on the right-hand side.) I have also been an early adapter with Web tools that help a writer research and reach a greater audience. I was even featured in an [login to view URL] article as a journalist who uses Twitter to it's full ability ([login to view URL]). Additionally, I have years of experience with multimedia work, including shooting and editing videos, taking photos, blogging and working with streaming content. I am a thorough, quick and creative worker who will get the job done exactly the way you want.
