Recall Alarm Desktop
Recall Alarm Desktop application picks the data from above mentioned data sources and update the database in the database for new recalls. In details Recall Alarm Desktop is a batch job which runs like service on the server and check for the new recalls on the above websites in their rss data feeds. As well as the new recall found, application tries to parse html page and get well formatted data. And if it unable to read/parse data then it just records the url in database table. Then the admin manually hits the url and collects information from specific html page to insert into the database. Then comparison happens between records to update the recall alert data table.
