Born in a French community of the Eastern Townships (Québec) and lived in Edmonton (Alberta) for over 5 years, I had the chance to get a good grasp of both Canadian cultures. I realize now how much of a tremendous asset it turned out to be. After 8 years in the software industry where I made my mark as a software designer and project manager, I have the opportunity to spread my wings and embrace my creative side. Despite a highly technical job, I always managed to bring my artistic and creative sides to whatever I did. Going back to my academic roots is therefore a normal step in my career path.
