This June 2011 story tells of how one small-town business owner is unable to keep up with technology. As Netflix and Red Box took over the movie rental business, both privately-owned rental stores and national-chain stores are going out of business. This is a two-page PDF.

I have nearly 10 years of experience in writing and editing, having spent nearly eight as a daily newspaper reporter. I am now moving into other forms of writing as a freelancer. I plan to enroll in Boise State in January 2013 and eventually earn a masters of English in rhetoric and composition. With that degree, I'll pursue a college teaching career while continuing to freelance.
