I have more than 20 years experience as an editor and reporter in Canada and Asia. This includes work as a staff editor at Reuters and Knight-Ridder Financial News as well as editing positions at business magazines in Hong Kong and Japan. I have directed teams of reporters and edited their stories. I also started and ran several successful companies over the years and became experienced with writing business plans, both for my own companies and others. I have also written prospectuses for US-listed companies. I am used to writing under tight deadlines. I have received several newspaper awards, including one for investigative journalism in Canada. Most importantly, I enjoy writing and editing and the process of turning an idea into clear and accurate copy.
