I am a self starter and have been analysing, designing, and developing enterprise scale applications for over 15 years. I keep current with leading edge technologies, but never use a technology unless it 'makes sense' for the job or without customer buy-in. In recent years I have run courses – in addition to class room training I mentor developers giving one on one training tailored to the individual without loosing developer productivity. I have spoken on various technical subjects to groups including the Cape Town Software Process Improvement Network and the Cape Town Java User Group. I also blog on technical subjects and answer technical question on the Cape Town Java User Group mailing list.
