Half light and low light conditions can cause irritation anddifficulty to a large range of people as well as causing eyestrainand potentially allowing for accidents due to poor vision. Thisis particularly pronounced in those over the age of 40 due tomacular degeneration. The problems around this area were thoroughly investigatedby the design team to find a solution and possible new productopportunity. This has led to a design proposal which is believedto solve a number of problems in this area.
