Responsible for all Internet properties, online advertising, marketing, SEO, Social Networking, link building, and proper operation of websites for MSCO and all clients.
Online Advertising: I create and run online marketing campaigns for dozens of clients across many different markets including; Real Estate, Mortgages, New Car Sales, B to B in several different verticals, and many others.
SEO: Search engine submissions, online directories and low cost or no cost online promotion for clients.
Blogging: Raised Mark Stevens' blog from a Technorati position of 900,000 to a ranking peak of 7,000. And expanded the email subscriptions to the blog by 300% and RSS subscriptions by 1000%. (Technorati is a blog ranking service similar to Alexa's web site rankings, Lower is better.)
Social Networking: I have created many MySpace, Facebook, and Wikipedia pages. Including information about a business or personality is essential to establishing an online reputation and gaining effective positioning on Google and other search engines.
SEO: Successfully moved MSCO's Site from an Alexa ranking of well over 1 million to a peak of near 40,000th place in the entire Internet. (#1=Yahoo, #2=Google... Lower is better)
Management: I managed the team that launched a social networking site based on the Joomla Content Management System and launched in 6 weeks. We conceived, designed, and created the site which included; 2 blogs, 4 forums, and dozens of features to entice and attract users. The amazing part of the project was that we had no experience with Joomla.
Web Traffic Analytics: I use Google Analytics, Google Website Optimizer, ClickTracks, and other programs to test and track a website's performance.
2005-2006 Infinite Conferencing, Marketing Manager, Search Engine Specialist
As Marketing Manager I was responsible for all Marketing efforts online and off-line for the company. The website is the gateway for web conferencing which was a major profit center, therefore uptime is mission critical.
SEO- Website SEO redesign completely rewriting the website without changing the visitor's experience, or visual appearance of the site. This involved converting several hundred pages and keeping Google happy with the results.
Online Advertising- I implemented Pay Per Click (PPC) bid management software and increased the number of sales leads from the PPC campaign by 30% in 9 months, while reducing costs by an additional 30%. This was so successful that Google wrote a story about my efforts and circulated it internally.
Online Advertising Optimization- I conducted extensive key word research and increased the keyword bidding program to over 40,000 phrases. This significantly reduced the bid prices paid for online ads.
Web Analytics- I researched, selected and purchased and managed the implementation and training for a web analytics platform, Click Tracks.
