As a software developer I focused on maintaining and enhancing the software tools used by the Individual Life sales team. The suite was SOA based (both SOAP and REST services) and used a mix of J2EE technologies, JMS, Websphere, and Struts (with jQuery on the client end to add AJAX capability). In this role I played a key role in designing new features and suggesting process improvements for the team I worked with.
