Children's Book
These concept illustrations are from a project proposal I participated in at D.C.T. The premise was to produce a customisable childrens book for Digital Print. Unfortunately, the project ended here for a number of reasons, but I had a very enjoyable time preparing the concept art, of which these five images are a representative sample. The last two images help to show the possible customisation in action - two examples of animal and child are shown (even at the concept stage we managed to produce a large number of variations - namely hair style and colour, gender, skin colour and clothing colour).

I am a digital artist working in Scotland. I have an honours degree in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, Scotland. I also have a decade of experience working for a Scottish publishing firm - mainly on websites promoting their children's entertainment products. I have experience working with bitmap and vector graphics formats, as well as website animation in Flash. I am proficient in the use of various Adobe products - specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. I also occasionally use Corel Painter for illustration.
