SimpliCity
SimpliCity is a minimalist collection of 6 outfits inspired by maps of different cities: Geneva, Saint-Tropez, Vienna, Venice,Paris and Timisoara. These outfits consist of A-line dresses inspired by Yves Saint Laurent's Mondrian dress from the '60s. The dresses are paired up with geometrical neck accessories which were hand painted to mimic the map of each city.
About Me
I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Fashion Design which have helped me develop a broad range of skills. Through my 8-year industry experience I was able to further develop and perfect these skills: * design development of creative yet commercial collections * team, client & supplier meetings * Adobe CC * moodboard & colour palette development * seasonal trend research, prediction & comp shopping * fabric & trim sourcing * technical packs and spec sheets * creative pattern cutting * toiling, garment construction, alterations and fittings * hand sewing, embellishment and embroidery * liaising with pattern cutters, machinists, suppliers & factories * fashion illustration * excellent sketching and hand drawing skills * print design * admin & studio management * time management * excellent attention to detail * working independently as well as part of a team * excellent communication skills
