David J.

I am a freelance designer with proven creative skills; I have a strong technical background in the design and print industry. I spent 7 years working as a senior designer at Top That Publishing plc in the U.K. I designed, illustrated and art directed books for both children and adults. During this time I gained extensive experience in designing packaging for major international retailers such as Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys and Next. My duties included designing and presenting pitches, designing new packaging concepts and taking these ideas through to production. Prior to this I worked for 11 years in magazine design and production. This work gave me excellent design and artworking skills and an ability to work to strict deadlines. Also during the past 9 years I have also worked on freelance print and web projects including company branding, logo design, advertising, brochures and website design and development. At present I am working full-time freelance from my studio in Suffolk, U.K. Please find my online portfolio at [login to view URL] Thank you for your time.
