D&AD Student Awards Winner — Best of Year 2012 Graphic Design Category The Typographic Circle is an organization formed to unite individuals with an interest in type and typography. The brief was to design a series of supplements for The Typographic Circle, focusing on talks given by renowned designers, writers and typographers. With this in mind, the publications were designed to bring out a sense of society and belonging in the Circle. The publications were packaged, with each cover being silkscreened, to bring out the exclusiveness of the supplement, and the bright colors were chosen to seem inviting without being too elitist. To complete this, a wax seal was created with the Circle's logo to lend a societal finish to the publication.
About Me
I am Devin Japiter, from Medan, Indonesia. Who is Singapore-Indonesia based design communication designer who specializes in graphic design. Graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Design Communication in 2012. I have awarded with D&AD student awards - Best of the year 2012. Have been design some graphics at Garden By The Bay, Marina South while joined Kingsmen. Also win poster design for URA collaboration with Lasalle at Marina Bay City Gallery. I have strong passion both in digital and traditional methods. Photography, painting and drawing are my side interest. I would always like to explore the use of craft, 3 dimensional and different materials for the design outcomes instead of compromising for typical flat print. Interest to design something that is not only use in graphic but like interior, product that is multidicipline kind of work.
