Luminous Junc.ture
Commissioned by The Northern Ballet to design the costumes for the latest production by choreographer Kenneth Tindall; Luminious Junc.ture. The task involved designing 10 costumes for both male and female dancers of varying sizes. The designs had to be strong individually but also work in partnerships as well as an overall collective. I had to be considerate of the dancers needs and requirements, keeping their bodies and natural shape the focal point and in no way inhibiting their movement or comfort.
