Men’s Knitwear Design Assistant JO-Y-JO
My sandwich placement at university was as a Men’s Knitwear Design Assistant at a supply company called JO-Y-JO. I joined as a key member of an already well-established team, working directly across all areas; sales, design and merchandising. I was solely responsible for producing CADS and FAIRISLES for buyers, booking in items and sending to buyers/ filing correspondence, specs and yarns/ communicating with the Hong Kong and Bangladesh Offices, chasing samples and other enquires.
