James Officer is an accomplished digital learning professional with a specialization in the strategy and design side of the learning ecosystem. His analysis and marketing skills are derived from more than 15 years of experience in the development strategies, design and creative focus for digital learning. After graduating from Northern Illinois University, James began his career in digital learning on the creative and design side of the business. He progressed from Art Director at Universal Systems and Technology, Inc, managing a small portfolio of interactive projects valued at just over $2 million. More recently, James holds a position as Director of Learning at Invaya, LLC., a small software firm where he was responsible for the procurement and successful delivery of training and customer retention. He was a senior partner for ATOM5 Media. a custom content creation firm, procuring and assisting in the preparation of a custom content design, development and job aid documentation. While always maintaining a managed due diligence of timelines for an international course rollout. The focus of James’s work has been on the growth of digital learning for small business, minority and disabled veteran companies. He has led a career focused on digital learning impacting the minority community. He has over 10 years with gamification experience from working in the simulation and training sector. 15 years Marketing and communications experience infused into his eLearning to promote courses and digital learning tools.
