Hip Hop Medley Tribute
As a personal project, I decided to dive into the world of Hip Hop. I started out not having a concrete idea and doing research on the birth of Hip Hop, DJ Kool Herc and at one point finding myself swimming in the waters of Electronic Music. Finally, I was lucky enough to stumble upon Justin Timberlake's & Jimmy Kimmel's Hip Hop Medley videos & thought doing this video would be both fun & educational to one of man's many histories. From then on, it was game on to complete this video in between my intership & leisure time. I mixed the songs together and the movements happening and images which appear in this video captures distinct things that happen in the original videos of these songs. For example, the disco ball in The Sugahill Gang shot or the yellow butts in Sir Mix-A-Lot's shot. I graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore with a Diploma in Motion Graphics & Broadcast Design.
