Supersoul | Curatorial
Alila Ubud brought to life with vibrant colors and imaginative anthropomorphism art created by an artist I love and have been fortunate enough to befriend, Yaviz Basalamah. Yaviz is a Jakarta-based painter currently working in painting, graphic design and fashion. He uses bright colours, animals and symbols creating graphic dream-like works. 'SUPERSOUL' is a journey about Yaviz's self-discovery. The opening night was all bright, happy and colorful.

I live in an island where life is pretty much like a holiday. I'm fortunate enough to do things I love to make a living: splashing walls of interesting places with my paint, curating work of the coolest artists, and sometimes making brand identities for the brands that I adore.
