I am a published author, "Certified Proofreader," and have years of experience doing academic research. I am a former English teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology (Minors: Poetry, PreLaw), a paralegal certificate, police academy completion certificate, and sexual assault advocate certificate. I believe a writer is not so much a wordsmith as a thinker and problem solver--words are just the medium. I have established myself as a critical thinker who is both creative and analytical. I graduated with Phi Beta Kappa, Mortar Board, and departmental honors. Additionally, I am an ordained minister and former All-American track athlete. My main areas of expertise are: nutrition, vegetarianism, natural/alternative health, sports nutrition, athletic training, exercise, poker, Texas Hold'Em, soapmaking, public speaking, debate, world religions and spirituality, social issues (racism, sexism, poverty), weddings, metaphysics, and self-improvement (overcoming obstacles, etc).
