Music Composition for Amelie Film Clip
This is a original composition wrote to sync up with the moving images of this film clip from Amelie. All the original audio was taken away from the clip and re-scored to the same bouncy and playful tone of the film, with instruments relevant to France. There are a few added sound effects and location sounds. I used a selection of sample based VST instruments from Kontakt 3's VSL Library, Garritan's Personal Orchestra, East West's Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra, Tone Hammer and Art Vista's Virtual Piano Kontakt Player; as well as IK Multimedia 's Amplitude 2 VST for the guitar recordings. All of it was sequenced in Steinberg's Cubase 5 This clip is taken from a French film called 'Amelie' from 2001 and was directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet with original music by Yann Tierson.
