I do not have an SEO company I currently run my business utilising two websites I have designed, written all the content (apart from external feeds)and optimised using my SEO skills. This is an ongoing process as the main website [login to view URL] has only been live for 9 months. Prior to establishing my own business I was a Company Director in a field unrelated to my current business. I have been designing websites for 7 years and involved in SEO for 5 years My website has achieved a Google page rank 4 for the index and page rank 3 for all the other main pages. The website has a number 1 ranking on several search engines for several keywords. Examples are keywords - diet big eater, big eater, diet eater - which has no.1 or page 1 ranking ranking on Altavista, All The Web, Ixquick, Yahoo, MSN and Google. These have a fairly small number of competitor sites on Google but between 2,000,000 and 15,500,00 on Yahoo and MSN. As another example my site ranks 32 on Google for the search big weight loss - competitor sites 30,700,000 I am still working on the more competitive keywords for example diet which can have approximtately 169,000,000 240,000,000 competitor sites and for which my website is appearing in the top 120 to 1000 sites on some of the major search engines for example rank 295 out of 188,000,000 competitor sites on MSN (page one is the target of course!). I am getting no 1 or page 1 rankings for keywords with 5000 - 63,000,0000 competitor sites. I have also designed a 2.0 site [login to view URL] which has only been live since the 9th of July has a Google page rank 3 and is getting no 1 rankings for the obvious keywords (BiG Eater Diet Social Network). The website has several page 1 rankings for keywords with 5000 - 54,000,000 competitor sites on Google, Yahoo Altavista, All The Web and other major search engines - keyword diet network for example. I have software in place too create links to over 2000 SEO friendly directories This is not automatic submission !! it makes the manual submission process easier. Google has now greatly reduced the importance of paid directory inclusions but can link to free directories in appropriate categories. I also have software in place to add websites to the major search engines. I will provide more detail if my proposal is of interest.
