From Montevideo, Uruguay, born and raised, I have extensive knowledge in translating a wide variety of contents. English wise, I have a certificate of proficiency from the University of Michigan, and as an educational background, a BA in Advertising & Communications which provides me with a very diverse outlook when it comes to creating a message targeted for a specific audience. I work alone, meaning that there is no group of translators here, which assures that a certain style is maintained throughout the project. My approach is that translations are not so much about knowing the meaning of some words, but about understanding a culture, its ways and little details so I can reproduce a concept as intended in a different language. I work fast and I am easy to reach. Uruguay, as of march, is two hours ahead of the EST (later on, only one) but I can adapt if necessary.
