I am an Art Director, Designer, and Artist based in New York ? My experience as a Graphic Designer started with my first internship, back in 2009, at a publicity agency. I am thankful for all my opportunities, but especially for that first one - to the people who trusted my potential and decided to invest in me when I had very little to offer. More than a decade ago, I was retouching my first layouts on photoshop, learning my first lines on HTML and CSS, the first step of the journey I am still on. Like every other profession, being a designer has its tough moments, and for times I wondered if I had chosen the right path. Now, looking back after all those years, all the joy and knowledge I built-up makes me happy. I am taking this space here to be grateful: for all the patience my previous colleagues had with me, the willingness to share their knowledge. For what I also had shared all these years. From the little jokes in the office to the big campaigns showcased in billboards. It is all worth it. I love being a Designer; I enjoy looking for trends, learning new technologies, knowing all the tricks for the lights to make things glow, knowing to spell the magic that makes colors shine, knowing all the artists, learning new software, and the hot stuff. Because of the ones who display courage: the creatives, the bold, the different, the unsettled. The reality is, it is ok to be frustrated, as no big journey comes without hardships. I am looking forward to designing more chapters of this story, as I am thankful for the ones I have shared with amazing people.
