I hold a Master's degree in Political Sciences and a BA in graphic design, and I am an Illustrator & Designer, having worked mainly in publishing. Over the last 9 years I have designed lay out and covers for scientific publications and have become specialized in translating scientific content into entertaining artwork that combines beauty with scientific accuracy. I am very experienced and comfortable in designing educational material. Recently I started developing my own graphic biographies of famous people. I have excellent hand drawing skills and advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (& QuarkXpress), and have a working knowledge of Flash and Fireworks. I am well versed with Microsoft Office and am familiar with a Mac and a PC. I am an enthusiastic, communicative and agreeable team member that performs best in a fun loving working environment. I volunteer for an elementary school in Brookline MA, designing the lay out of the weekly newsletter, and designing & illustrating posters for school plays and other special events.
