My professional career is pretty interesting and varied. Currently I work full-time as a senior technical writer. My past professional occupations include: - 12 years (1995-2007) as an IT manager (Windows 2003, Novell, Linux, ESX); - 5 years (1989-1994) as a fashion photographer (and advertising stills); - 5 years (1990-1994, 2007) as a graphics artist; - 9 years (1998-2005, 2007-2008) as a technical writer, documentation and editing specialist (with localization experience); - 7 years (1995-2000, 2006-2008) as a web designer (HTML, javascript, php, etc.); - 11 years (1988-1994, 2000-2004, 2007-2008) as a programmer (PDS, Visual Basic, C) - 3 years (varied years) as a researcher; - ~7 years (1980-1983, 2000-2002, varied on-site training jobs) as an educator. Many of these occupations overlap throughout the years. I'm not THAT old but I am very driven to work hard and learn something new all the time. Doug
