With a background in working on enterprise sized systems for 18 years, predominantly built on .NET (C#) and Microsoft SQL Server, I was offered a chance to pursue my #1 passion in 2014: Game Development. Since then I have been working as a Senior Game Developer / Systems Architect using mostly Unity and various BaaS providers like Firebase and Microsoft Azure.
Projects I have worked on as a Game Developer range from mobile apps/games/Augmented Reality experiences to web-based games/assessment tools to Virtual Reality experiences and training tools.
Although I have found Mobile Game Development to be a more "relaxed" space, my years working on mission critical software systems has made me a bit of a stickler for standards and procedures, and this has given me quite an edge in the field: there isn't a choice between speed and quality... quality from the start will increase speed throughout.
