I am the President and CEO of JSR Associates LLC, an aviation safety consulting firm. I have 44 years of experience in the field of aviation, including 14 years as a professional pilot, 27 years with the FAA as an Aviation Safety Inspector, 15 years as a Princial Operations Inspector, and 5 years experience in FAA headquarters, Washington DC. I have extensive experience with FAA Flight Standards both nationwide and international. I am type rated (ATP) in a variety of turbojet aircraft and qualified in multiple classes and categories of aircraft with 11,000 flight hours. As an aviation consultant, I serve clients in the aviation industry in providing expert advice in aviation-related issues; providing guidance in initial airline certification; conducting aviation audits; providing expert testimony in legal proceedings involving aviation issues; preparing petitions for exemptions from FAR; and identifying, developing, and referencing 121-required SAIs. I work primarily with air carriers (FAR 121/129/135); aviation training facilities (FAR 141/142); attorneys practicing aviation law; and individuals seeking assitance in dealing with the FAA and aviation-related issues.
