An example of my translation projects (PL->ENG). I translated a summary for a research grant. Its title was "Critical edition of the "Galician-Volhynian Chronicle" with commentary and translation.
About Me
I am experienced and dedicated professional with strong organizational and analytical skills. I am computer literate, multi-skilled, assertive, highly motivated and able to perform efficiently and effectively. I have a great experience with eMarketing, Sales Marketing and Trade Marketing. I have been working as a sales person in hospitality for the past few years. I also planned the Sales Department budget, reported the execution of the plan periodically, prepared analyses and forecasts. I was also responsible for online distribution management (managing the dynamic pricing and availability on hotel reservation websites by using YieldPlanet channel manager, proposing and inserting special offers and adjusting website content to ensure that our hotel is ahead of the competitors; constant analyses of market trend and competitive set as well as customer’s preferences.). I have an experience in Polish-English translation. I was involved on a voluntary basis in Polish to English and English to Polish translations of scientific texts (mostly historical) for conferences, grants, lecture abstracts, etc. Lately I have been collaborating on the 3rd International Scientific Conference “Colloquia Rusica” (which took place on 15-17 Nov. 2012 in Warsaw). I have a advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of some of an other software. I am ready to be hired and start working on your projects today.
