‘Magic knife'; the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts
Illustration of an Egyptian ‘Magic knife. The illustration is used in a monography about the use of magic knives during the Middle Kingdom of Egypt until the beginning of the New Kingdom of faraonic Egypt approx. 1950-1550 B.C. The project is a cooperation between dr. M.R E.F. Vink (The Hague) and prof. Dr. Altenmüller (Hamburg). The illustration is also exhibited in the Egyptian department of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts.
About Me
During a four-year bachelor's program at the Theatre Academy of Maastricht, I studied a wide range of subjects related to the different aspects of theatre. June last year I successfully graduated with a specialization in Costume Design. I'm a Dutch native speaker with a great interest in languages. This passion and the fact that my BA was mainly taught in German, in which I reached fluency, kindled the desire to focus on more foreign languages like Turkish and French. While improving my languages, I worked as a Illustrator for museum catalogues and monographies about ancient Egypt. Also I designed a few flyers for theatreplays.
