Dutch Didit created a predication game, with leader boards, monthly prizes, score calculations, questions and answers, account system and it supports multiple languages. This app was later sold to a leading Dutch news paper. o I created all HTML / CSS for both the mobile and desktop version of the app using the PSD given by the designer. o I wrote all Javascript and since this is a single-page app, it had to support multiple pages and the HTML5 history API. o The app is compatible with IE8+ and all modern browsers. o This app is connected to a back-end API created by the back-end developer, using AJAX with JSON. o Technologies: Javascript, HTML, CSS

As a freelance TypeScript engineer with 15 years of experience, I develop and deploy full-stack applications using React and NodeJS. I worked in diverse business environments, from critical back-office systems for large enterprises to lean MVPs for startups. I have deployed software on AWS, GCP, and Azure infrastructure. While I often use Docker for containerization, I make pragmatic choices between portable containers and proprietary platform services based on project needs. A core part of my role involves developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing, not just for web applications but also for Electron-based UIs. This includes production error monitoring for critical systems. Where possible, I advocate for a unified stack, aiming for TypeScript across the board. However, I have practical experience using Python when collaborating with colleagues in other disciplines, such as data science. For UI development, I have worked with everything from Backbone and Svelte, to Angular and React. At one point I even wrote my own UI library, before finally deciding React is the best choice, after it switched to hook-based architecture in 2019. Beyond technical implementation, I focus on bridging the gap that can exist between development teams and business goals. I engage directly with end-users and take time to understand the domain knowledge within the company. I enjoy collaborative problem-solving through live coding and brainstorming and I appreciate a well-structured backlog grooming session.
