LvBtranslations

After more than four years in Spain, were I spend my time teaching English to Spanish people and doing translation work, I decided to go back to my home country the Netherlands and start my own business here: LvBtranslations was born! I am a freelance (sworn) translator Spanish and English to Dutch and I translate texts in a great variety of subjects. I graduated from the Dutch School of Translation and Interpreting in Maastricht in the year 2005, with the languages Spanish and English and the specializations engineering and professional writing. I did an internship at a trade union in Spain and at a translation agency in the Netherlands. In 2005, I was sworn as a translator at the Dutch District Court of Maastricht. I simply love to translate; finding the correct terminology, reading and learning about a new subject, playing with sentences and words and, most importantly, making sure that a translation does not read as one. Translating is never boring, with every assignment you learn something new. When I translate, I forget everything around me and I almost get absorbed by the text. I only stop working when I am completely satisfied with the end result. I deliver high-quality translations at economic rates.
