✅ Magento / Adobe Commerce Certified Developer ✅ Zend Certified PHP Engineer ✅ Building on Magento 1 since 2009 ✅ Building on Magento 2 since 2015 ✅ Polyglot: PHP, React, Node.js, TypeScript, Go lang Hi, I'm Raj (aka MagePsycho) — a Senior Magento Architect with 15+ years building and scaling e-commerce stores, including Nespresso MEA, Mumzworld and CITRUSS across the Middle East and GCC. If your store has a problem, I've very likely solved it before. I work end to end on Magento / Adobe Commerce: architecture, performance, security, payments, integrations, headless/GraphQL, and the day-to-day troubleshooting that keeps a store healthy. I'm also comfortable beyond Magento with Symfony, the MERN stack, PWA/GraphQL and AWS, so I can take on the wider web work around your store too. One thing that sets my work apart today: I've built AI-assisted development deeply into how I deliver (Claude Code, MCP, RAG), which means faster turnaround, tighter code review, and more done in less time, without cutting corners on quality. Outside client work I'm the founder of MagePsycho (Magento extensions and tools used by developers worldwide since 2009), creator of MageSmith, and an active maintainer of Magento Open Source. I'm a blogger and indie hacker at heart, always sharpening the craft. 🎖️ Selected results on Magento ✓ Migrated complex Magento 1 stores to Magento 2 — data, modules and themes — with no loss of functionality. ✓ Cut a client's licensing costs by ~$40K/year by moving from Magento 2 Enterprise to Open Source, keeping every feature intact. ✓ Upgraded heavily customized Magento stores (e.g. 2.1 → 2.4) cleanly and safely. ✓ Rebuilt critical APIs to hold up at 55K requests/minute through Black Friday peak traffic. ✓ Brought slow GraphQL APIs down from 20s+ to under 150ms, and TTFB to under 250ms on sluggish stores. ✓ Lifted Lighthouse / Core Web Vitals scores from the 20s up to the 80s across listing, product and checkout pages. ✓ Designed and built a fully personalized multi-vendor marketplace on Magento. ✓ Built advanced pricing on top of native Magento — introductory pricing, 7-day deals, event offers and more. ✓ Implemented multi-website / multi-source stock management. ✓ Integrated payments, ERPs and search — Tabby, Tamara, Checkout_com, NetSuite, Algolia. ✓ Ran code and security audits across many Magento projects. ✓ Set up Magento from the ground up on AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner and others, with all the supporting services. ✓ Built dozens of Magento 1 and 2 modules to extend merchants' stores.
