After a roller-coaster career of more than 30 years in film and television as a writer, director and editor, I decided to return to my first love, design and writing for the page. The comparitive directness and the less expensive nature of print and the internet (no more continual budget worries and hassles) makes for more pleasurable work. Whatever the medium, my ability to visualise and organise ideas into useful, catchy form remains my greatest asset.
