Seaham Waves are a family run business based in County Durham. They specialise in making Jewellery from local sea glass collected from the shore of Seaham beach. Seaham Waves is an ambitious growing business, and to match there ambition they required a website to develop an online presence. Seaham Waves required a website with an integrated e-commerce facility. slimDESIGN developed a theme that would accommodate a heavy emphasis towards the e-commerce aspect, in a sleek and innovative fashion. The client identified that they wanted a simple, open and clean design, allowing for users to easily browse and purchase products online securely and effectively. A shopping cart plug-in was sourced that fitted the requirements of the client and was utilised on the website with some customisation to create the functionality that had been agreed upon with the client.
