Mark Muthiora Mwangi Gatere is a creative writer, poet, actor and performing artiste. He has published an anthology of short stories on Kindle, ‘Of Bananas and Oranges’ as well as a collection of poems. Mark was previously employed as an editor and writer at a publishing firm in Nairobi, Kenya. He was tasked with collaborating with authors on different books regarding their editing and teaming with designers concerning the overall design of the books among other tasks. Mark was also responsible for generating and collating material for an online magazine, Prose, that is available on Issuu and Magzter, plus articles for the firm's social media accounts. Thus, he is intimately acquainted with the ideals of publishing and deadlines. His work there saw him travel widely across the country as well as into Ethiopia for interviews and to generate material for books, articles, magazines and documentaries.
