The Sea-to-Sky highway between Vancouver and Whistler, BC is considered one of the most beautiful routes in the world. The problem is most drivers are more focused on reaching their destination than making the most of the journey and driving safely. It was also one of the most treacherous routes, claiming a lot of lives, till major construction took place between 2008 and 2010.

The problem we needed to solve was to change the perception of drivers using the highway from a trip used to speeding up to one that was rather enjoyed.

We knew a lot of drivers still fussed with their phones, so we created an iOS app that tracked your speed and your location along the sea to sky highway. You plug it in, turn it on and let the rewards kick in when you stick well within the speed limit while also enjoying the key hotspot locations along the way.
