Creative19 is headed up by Michael Preston. Here's his background:
I qualified as a designer in 1981, having completed a one year Foundation Course in Art and Design followed by a three year City and Guilds 532 Certificate (degree equivalent) in Typographic Design for Print. Since qualifying, I've gained a solid background of more than 20 years experience working at all levels of the communications, publishing, design and print industries.
In addition to my skills as a designer, I've also worked as a press photographer and I'm listed on the NUJ freelance directory and have a current and valid UK press ID card.
I've got very strong computer skills on both the Apple Macintosh and PC platforms. I'm proficient in a wide variety of software, especially Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and also Microsoft Office. I also have several years experience of administrating a Macintosh network.
It goes without saying that I have excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as a 'can do’ attitude and a willingness to work hard. I'm enthusiastic, involved and a meticulous worker with a good eye for detail.
