Sometimes the invisible work is as important as the immediate results and many foundations were laid for the future. History Our company – as it is today – formally born in 2011, due to the spin-off of skills application development and design. Although the design and brand existed since 2009, this operation allowed us to focus on those that are our ideas and strategies. A risky bet, when the national and international economic environment was unfavorable to new projects, which has proved correct and safe. A short history but still full of pride, pleasure and passion of all who work in it. Without being pretentious, we can say that in such a short time has made many good ideas happen … The founder of Mix and Blend, but a programmer, has always been a passion for technology. Although coming from the old school of locally installed applications – began in the legendary Basic ZX Spectrum,evolved into DBase, Clipper (imagine!), passed to Visual Basic, .NET and Silverlight - always knew monitor and take advantage of new technological trends currently heading in the Mix and Blend, projects related to Web and Facebook, which added to the valences of the universe open-source. Philosophy In the Mix and Blend opted for a philosophy based approach in communication, proximity to customers and focus effort on what is really important: the projects from the point of view of the operation and the inputs, internal and external, which may add value to the solutions. Based on an informal style and comfortable (not alowed tie), much to influence reside in LX Factory – authentic island occupied by businesses and creative professionals in the industry, a factory where experience becomes possible to think, produce, exchange, share ideas and experiences , a place that belongs to everyone, for everyone – work based on a lightweight and minimalist point of processes and administrative aspects. But informality and flexibility of structure are not synonymous with weakness, nor less professionalism. Before a bet on a hierarchical model horizontal, flexible and committed to the quality of the software, rather than energy consumed in tasks that do not contribute directly proportional to the final product. Because much we identify with the principles presented in the book “Getting Real” by Jason Fried, current president and co-founder of the successful American company 37signals, carefully follow the route of this very company that inspires us and whose products are faithful users .
