Work Experience: Working as a Manager of management information system (MIS) department of Pride Group- from June 2002 to till date. During this period I have successfully implemented an enterprise wide integrated Management Information System (MIS)/ERP Solution in Pride Group. This system has following modules or phases. Financial Management System (FMS): It is complete integrated accounting system. This system has general ledger, journal entries, adjustment entries option, bank, cash receipts and payments purchase and sales accounting, bank reconciliation, trail balance and income statement, balance sheet subsidiaries ledger which support auto generation of transactions from initiating of events on other modules that updates the accounts automatically. It has following key features v Flexible chart of accounts. v Supports departmental accounting. v Maintains L/C wise accounting. v Flexible aging reports on accounts receivables and payable. v Supports L/C wise budget, cash budget and periodic budget. v On line fund planning. v Auto generation of essential reports like general ledger, income statement, balance sheet and scope to prepare customize reports and queries. Human Resource Management System (HRMS): This system stores data regarding personnel related affairs and payroll management. It extends the facilities for proper Human Resource Management. It communicates with Production Management System (PMS) for piece rate payment and employee appraisal. It has updated Financial Management System regarding salaries payable, salary expenses, operational advances and advance salary payment. It has the following key features. v Maintain employee (active employees is around three thousand five hundred) related information in an efficient manner. v Supports interface with barcode and other time keeping device. v Manual attendance entry by exception. v Leave records tracing on company policy. v Loan/advance management for individual employee v Payroll processing and generation of pay slip by verifying thumb of each employee. v Support piece rate payment. v Calculate overtime period by individual employee. v Auto generation of essential reports and option to prepare customize report and queries Fixed Assets Management System (FAMS): This system maintains and tracks the fixed assets detail operations. It is enable to track the location and responsibilities against individual assets. It internally communicates with Financial Management System to update accounting system. The main features of this system are v It maintains procurement cost with other details of each assets v It identifies and handles composite fixed assets, assembles individual fixed assets as component. v Calculate depreciation as per selected method on individual assets. v Tracks sales, transfer of location and responsibility. v Maintain and track date wise servicing and repairing records against individual assets v Internally communicate with Financial Management System to update accounting system v Auto generation of basic reports and opportunities to generate customize reports and queries Inventory Management System (IMS): Inventory management system will mainly help in store management. It records all transactions of all sorts of items of stock. This system handle all pertinent operations like receipts of materials, issue of materials and transfer of materials in different location. Integration with Commercial System and Financial Management System will enable the updates of the stock and other transaction of the accounting. The prime features of this system are v Flexible segment in coding items for grouping and sub grouping. v Purchase order, receive and re-ordering records. v Vendor management. v Stock issue and stock position v Integration with Financial Management System and Production Management System v Auto generation of basic report and customize report and queries preparation Production Management System: Production management system handles all the production process. From the style bank dynamically it determines the activities involved in any given export order. It supports production data by individual employee with minimum entry efforts. It helps to determine efficiency of workers from the production data combine with the standard. It maintains the production accounting of garments against any given order. The main characteristics of this system are v Tracks and monitors movement of garments in different user defined operational stages. v Allow entering of size and color wise daily production information. v Project the daily production target to achieve the scheduled shipment date and anticipate shipment date based on actual performance. v Monitors the quality control on defined procedure. Order Management System: The order management system helps the management of order procurement and onward processing. It is shared by merchandising department, commercial department and production department. It consists of single order entries for given style tagged with export L/C, while monitoring and tracking these orders. The standard consumption, costing and technical specification define once against the specific style. The key features of this system are v Maintains detail export orders and tracking information by tracking information by Export L/C, buyers, style, merchandise and order status. v Maintains style wise standard consumption, costing and technical specification. v Supports the implementation of production engineering process with projection on machine and human resource requirement for a given style or line v Follow up the proceeds realization status on execution of shipment. Point of Sales: It is a retail sales management system used in 74 Showrooms of Pride Group throughout the Bangladesh. By scanning barcode of each product it track sales, stock and cash transaction of showroom and this data is updating head office accounts and central warehouse located in a different location through City cell Zoom Modem at a cheaper cost. So is easier to monitor sales, stock, cash, expense and bank transaction, and attendance of employees work in showroom as well as central warehouse in real time. Report suite: It is an independent report tool. It dynamically supports the generation of any type of reports on user query and suitable for top management. It’s prime features are v Subject oriented, time sensitive reports offers complex analysis in simplified manner. v Instant graphical output capability. v Assist management to stay in touch with the daily business events v Option to create unlimited reports at user choice In addition of the above implementation, my responsibilities include: 1. Maintenance of existing LAN based on Windows 2003 Domain Server · Connecting new computers and printers to network · Analyze and resolve problems associated with servers and workstations · Resource sharing configuration · Necessary changes in the configuration of domains · Documentations of the entire network structure 2. Client Support / Troubleshooting · Installation of OS and other applications · Network user management · Support for MS Office packages (97, 2000, XP) · File sharing and printing troubleshooting · Hardware installation and maintenance · Maintenance of latest virus protection and prevention mechanisms 3.
