About Me
I have been working with FCP, Motion, After Effects and Photoshop for the last 8 years. I have a very strong understanding of hardware and software from previous experience. My most recent experience was working on a project called 'Splash of Color'. It is currently airing on Discovery HD worldwide. Splash of Color is a travelogue with a twist. http://www.splashofcolor.tv. During this project I was IT consultant, production manager and occasional cameraman (Sony Z1 and EX3) on location and in post, editor for half of the 10 part series. During the edit process, the edit team followed a loose script and were welcome to put forward ideas to enhance the story. During quiet times while the show was being sold I was also involved in the creation of a 3 part pilot 'Lets Go Painting' - [login to view URL] . This is more of an instructional art series, however as an editor I not only had to understand the painting process but also interweave the process with an on going story throughout the show. I also assisted in the filming and completed all of the edits for the Wombat Hotel website and advertisements aired on Sky Sport Australia. [login to view URL] In all of these project I was very much left to work on my own, to tight deadlines and strict quality control. I follow direction very well but also have creative ideas of my own, which I am happy to put forward for review. I am not a 9 -5 worker and will always ensure that a project meets its deadline on time and within budget.
