Legend of Rangitane
Acrylic paintings , placed together in photoshop as a sequential illustration to describe the Legend of Rangitane. the legend tells of long ago a giant totara tree stood, and trapped within was an Okatia. the okatia had heard whispers of the crashing waves of Moana and longed to see it as he had only known the stillness of Tane. his longing grew till he could take it no more and he uprooted the totara and begin traveling towards Moana carving out the manawatu river on his way. along his way he came across a giant rock but wanting Moana so much he crashed through creating the george or Te Apiti, onwards he went untill he reached Moana.

I am an aspiring illustrator that works in both digital and traditional mediums. Currently i am in the second year of the Bachelor of Applied Visual Imaging. I have experience in painting, The Adobe suite like Photoshop, InDesign and dreamweaver and have also have some Web page design skills and Flash CS5 and CS6 as well as some Photography experience. I am always looking for more challenges and experiences to help me forward in my career
