I have a BA with major in English Language and Literature and minor in Romanian Language and Literature, a Certificate for Completion of a Course in Communication, a Technical Translator's Certificate. I am a Legal Translator certified by the Romanian Ministry of Justice. I have worked as a translator in a Foreign Trade Company for 10 years and as an Administrative Clerk and a Consular Clerk at the American Embassy Bucharest for 21 years. Since 2006 I have started freelancing and have translated fiction (Thrillers and Detective, Fantasy) and non fiction(Self help Philosophy, Fashion) books, Children's books, automotive, finance/banking, legal correspondence, technical and various other types of texts from English into Romanian, from Romanian into English, from French into Romanian and from French into English.

In January 2012 I started working as a Translator at Fiver's House continuing to translate in various fields of the translation business and adding new clients to my portfolio. I continued to translate books (please feel free to ask for a copy of my Literary resume), technical and legal texts and documents a.s.o. and even adding new language pairs like French to English and Italian to Romanian (this last for more general texts).
