Through Social Policy & Programs Consulting, I provide contracted services – including research, writing, training, program development, marketing, lobbying, advocacy, event planning, and organizing – to nonprofit agencies working to attain political, social, and economic justice for low-income and working people. My syndicated column, Community Matters, clarifies the history, rationale, policies, and procedures surrounding current news issues and events, relating civics to real life. I don’t report the news. I explain it.
