I started gaining skills back when things were much simpler. Starting in Basic and going to various flavors (GW etc...). Then tried to get into C++ for about a year when I discovered PHP, Perl and MYSQL. I'm pretty proficient in them. I can work through Javascript issues also and of course CSS and HTML SEO is fairly straight forward for me with White Hat techniques that involve all the legal ways to move up the page.
