Design and Fabrication of LTD Solar Powered Stirling Engine
- Designed, fabricated and assembled a solar powered Stirling engine to operate at a minimum temperature difference of 14C. Pre-design discovery, 3D designing and prototype modeling were major responsibilities. - Obtained a stable engine rotation speed of 138 rpm at 14C temperature difference and observed speeds ranging from 140 rpm to 375 rpm at temperature difference range of 14C to 40C. These designs were not my original idea. My idea was only to make a stirling engine that would run under small temperature difference and I had taken a lot of help from internet and other students who had worked on this before.
