[Presented in the International GeoSpatial Forum 2013 which held in Netherlands] India, the world’s second highly populated country goes spatial over many fields & the information systems & other GIS utility’s usage are widely increasing. Any utility may be specific to a particular feature or a particular purpose. But this WCGS system focuses on almost all the features & fields which are currently being used in India. WCGS system can be implemented by making use of Remote Sensing, GIS & GPS technologies. The complete data of all the features are collected & fed into the Database system, which can be utilized by every citizen. The map is displayed over the webpage & then the spatial location of a particular feature is selected to view its details (ex: clicking on a road to get its length & name). All the details of every citizen is fed into this system & if a person wants to buy any accessory, he may use his personal id which is unique & linked to his other details & also his biometric data. So that accessory id will be added to his reference & every billing for the purchase will be based on his unique id, which means even the bank details are linked to his unique id. Every citizen who has right to vote, will have his login details to login into this site & get his complete details. When a house owner logs on, he can see his assets & purchases he made along with various other details spatially. He cannot access other person/house details. But whenever a govt official logs on, He can see the details of other persons based on his post (for ex: If an Income Tax officer, he can see the financial details of any house spatially but not the person’s family details). So this system will be helpful in monitoring the whole national level details, which will surely reduce the problems like paying taxes, black money, holding illegal assets etc. The data to be accessed is based on the person who logs on.
