Front and Back Cover of Before The Wedding Spiral-Bound Book
The 4.75-inch x 6.75-inch front and back covers for Before The Wedding Spiral-Bound Book (2013) were created for the author. Layout and size were critical in the design stage to allow for spiral binding and UPC symbols on back cover. Readability was also a key consideration in the overall layout and design. The author was given a choice of a white leather or white satin texture for the covers. She chose the white leather to appeal a bit more to the potential male customer. The forget-me-not flowers and pearls were used for an additional delicate texture and color to pop against the black and white backdrop of the "dress" design. Photoshop was used for this project. Responsibilities included: overall layout and design per author's requirements, editing of text to fit, rearrangement of text for concept and design, graphics, editing, proofreading, pre-press and final files for upload, project management.
