Alan was the specialist "I.T. Development Manager" for the Yorkshire Regional Health Authority in the NHS for several years, before taking early retirement and creating his own business in Brigg. He has experience of procurement and maintenance of computer systems from £2,000,000 mainframes (ICI 2966) to supporting over 6,000 staff using PC's in hundreds of offices throughout Lincolnshire and Yorkshiore offices and clinics belonging to the NHS, supporting custom built systems designed and built by Alan and supplied to other authorities as far away as London and Scarborough !
Despite ups and downs, in the market, some bad decisions and a terrible financial upheaval as the prices of computers and software dropped, sometimes to 10% of their 1992 value, Alan has persevered and still retains a strong grip on the company.
